On Tuesday, December 10th, the Honeoye Falls-Lima Board of Education appointed Ms. Sarah Jacob as the new Principal of Honeoye Falls-Lima High School.
Jacob is currently the principal of Barker Road Middle School in the Pittsford Central School District, where she has been serving since July 2021. Prior to her role at Barker Road, she was an assistant principal at both Brighton High School and Twelve Corners Middle School. She also has extensive experience teaching social studies and has served as the secondary standards leader for social studies in the Pittsford Central School District.
Jacob holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Nazareth College, a Master of Science Degree in Education from St. John Fisher College, and a certificate in Educational Leadership from the University of Rochester. She will be joining the district in mid-January, and her contributions will be valuable to the continued success of the community.
"We are thrilled to be able to fill this important role with such an experienced leader, someone who is an alumna of the high school, and who chose to raise her own children within the school district," stated Superintendent Gene Mancuso.
Jacob's wealth of experience and leadership will be a valuable asset as she begins her work with the district.
Welcome home.
