The Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District is excited to announce the appointment of Mr. Michael Black as the new Director of Pupil Personnel Services. Black joins HF-L with extensive experience as a special education administrator in both the Penfield Central School District and the Rochester City School District (RCSD). His previous roles include serving as a special education teacher coordinator, compliance liaison, and self-contained classroom teacher in the RCSD. He also has teaching experience in the West Irondequoit School District and at the Mary Cariola Children’s Center.
Black is currently pursuing his doctorate at the University of Rochester. He holds master’s degrees in Special Education and Educational Leadership from the U of R, and a bachelor’s degree in History with a concentration in Adolescent Special Education from Nazareth College.
