U.S. News & World Report’s annual rankings for America's Best High Schools is out for 2024. Once again, HF-L High School has been honored as a top high school in the nation! HF-L High School ranks #3 in the Rochester Metro Area, #69 in New York State, and #599 in the nation!
The national and state rankings are based on factors that include college readiness, math, reading proficiency, and graduation rates.
HF-L High School has an enrollment of 660 students with a 98% graduation rate! These rankings place HF-L in the 97th percentile in New York State!
“We are immensely proud of our high school's recognition as one of the top ranked schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report,” said Superintendent Gene Mancuso. “This achievement reflects the support routinely provided by our community and the hard work of our motivated students, dedicated educators and staff.”
In third place, HF-L is close on the tails of Pittsford Mendon (42 in NYS & 335 in the nation), and Pittsford Sutherland (50 in NYS & 394 in the nation). Rounding out the top five include Brighton (84 in NYS & 769 in the nation), and Geneseo (113 in NYS & 1,151 in the nation).
This achievement is truly reflective of the outstanding teachers, staff, and students of the Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District.
